SimpliSafe Security System

Do any fanatics have the SimpliSafe security system? Wife and I just bought our first townhouse and she wants me to add some security items for her piece of mind and our valuables when I'm out of town.

I was going to get the following things but most interested in whether the security system is the best option.

1. SimpliSafe (pin pad, base, door and window sensors, and extra loud siren) - http://simplisafe.com/wireless-home-...ature-overview

2. Dual cylinder deadbolts

3. Window security film for windows and glass back door

4. Sturdy Safe bolted to the ground

My Ride: pisses off liberals
I've heard it advertised. I've been considering a system myself because my work takes me away from home and the wife and kid are here alone. She wants a dog. I'd rather not have another thing to feed and pick up its sh!t. We currently have ADT stickers on the windows, but our security is a Mossberg. I think between us and the 5 closest houses to us there are enough firearms to invade Estonia. Idk if that's good or bad.

Cnet has some decent home security write ups for the DIYer. Reviews of features, price points, etc. Maybe check there and see what other options are available to fit your needs?
