Smart home question

So, forgive my ignorance. Im thinking about installing some RF or wifi enabled light switches as a first step toward a smarter home. I already use the Harmony hub remote, which I'm very happy with, and it looks like they're integrating more and more partners in the smart home space:

Im reading mixed reviews on Insteon. I have friends that have Lutron switches, which are expensive but I think are the best. I run all LED bulbs, which can flicker with some of these systems. Hoping to avoid that.

Anybody have experience with setting up wifi or RF light switches to be run with a home entertainment remote? Thoughts?

I have Wemo switchs, but no experience integrating them with my Harmony remote.
