I think the Meyle HD have an Allen head for the tip, but not all other brands. which make tearing new boots an issue. I did a compare thread on the endlinks, let me find the thread.

Having just done this this weekend using Rein .Lift both front wheels up so the sway bar isn't distorted .easier to put them on and take off which you don't have to worry.

Lemforders use Torx 30 I think in the to hold and a 16 mm open wrench.Rein is 17 mm with a 5hex to hold .
