Does anyone know of a CV axel for an 02 325xi front both of them that does not have a rubber boot on it as i lowered my stance and realized after putting brandnew ones on and driving for months just shredded my boots up so I am looking for one that has no boot so the stance can remain the same or lower if anyone has info please send Me an email @

Thank you,

No such thing. Torn boot = loss of lubrication, intrusion of grit = axle making a racket. If you lower an Xi, you should be familiar with refreshing these. Order the GKN parts from FCP Euro - Lifetime Warranty.

I was told by my cousin that they might make an axel that is rootless like one with a yolk in it and just keep packing grease every so off to eliminate tearing of rubber boots so I can keep my car lowered drives nice and looks great as is if you know specific venders or any info to start my search id much appreciate it I am new to the modding side of working on cars

Your cousin is wrong, no bootless axles for an xi. You may have cheap axles with cheap boots.

Ok so if there is no bootless axel then what do I need in order to keep the stance without the boot expanding like a dragsters tire during a burnout and just shredding agaings the control arm ... Do they make ones with a skinnier boot or one with a stiffer harder rubber that has less flex to it I like to go fast and cant get off the all wheel drive platform just love it I'm new so please be patient with me and any guidence is much appreciated

Thankyou

someone mentioned they took the boot clamp off and stretched the boot out and put the clamp back on. They said it helps keep the boot from rubbing when making tight turns maybe you could try that.

i3atp3ach3zZ, you should read these:

No sense in modding a car that is bound to become unreliable. Preventative maintenance = increased reliability. Treat your car well & it returns the favor.
