Newly Appointed BMW Owner, '01 Fern Green Vert 325ci

Hey everybody, I'm a proud owner of a vert! First BMW!!! I love love love this car. Lots of maintenance was done in the last 5k miles, and it's attached in the post, take a look! It's super detailed and really has me unworried. So far I've put in the top of the line Eonon Android 9.0 receiver, which has eliminated a left channel sputter and I've got it hooked up to an OBDII bluetooth adapter so I can check the codes on it and all of that other good Torque Pro goodness. The music, this thing has Bluetooth 5.0, sounds amazing. I have been playing Tidal MQA masters through the Bluetooth connection and the difference and clarity, who knew these Harmon Kardon speakers this old could sound so good! Also I love the look of this unit, it brings the car into the 21st century. I didn't install the backup camera yet, because it looks like a real pain to route. If I were to change anything else next it would be these pesky speakers. I changed the ridiculously long antenna with a Stubbie Jr., which doesn't detract from the lines of this car, and is sleeker than the normal Stubbie, acquired a wind deflector, and have been rolling around enjoying life. Underneath the hood, all of the hoses look new, and it's really such a clean example, I work at a parking garage so I'm so happy to keep my baby out of the sun this summer.

So far, I've had a intermittent rough idle, which I suspect is the DISA valve, as this was on the to-do for the previous owner, to which he never got around to it. He was too busy fixing other problems as far as I can tell, and with what thoroughness. I do want upgrade it with an X8R kit. Although I don't have any codes from this car, and I will probably wait until it starts throwing some before I pull the trigger. I would love to change out all of the bushings, and the shocks to some Koni yellows, but until I get a proper inspection, I'm going to hold off. In the records, it says they have been recently replaced. It came with Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ tires, and they are really a dream. I feel so sure footed when I change lanes, like I've never experienced before. The joys of owning beaters all of your life is when you get a REAL car.

I might do a clutch delay valve delete, as there isn't as much snappiness I'd prefer to get really good at driving a standard car. I'd also love to put some headers on this car, as I live in Ohio, we don't have any regulations. I would also love to put some 330 brakes on the front, and replace the brake lines to steel, but again, as I said earlier, there is a lot right with this car. Most of this modifications I will do when things break or need replacing, there isn't any need to change the driving characteristics, but I am aware there are many rubber bushings under the car which probably need replacing, if not in the near future. The convertible top works well, my window regulator on my passenger side is making noises, and will probably need replaced soon. I bought my girlfriend a Hermes scarf to wear while we drive around, she is beautiful and I love showing her off, and it lessened the guilt of having something THIS nice, LMFAO. As far as I'm concerned, with how clean this example is, I stole this car for 4400 dollars cash, now to do my best to not drive it like I did!

Thanks for all interest and suggestions, in advance, I hope to hear from you all soon!
