Low bar vs high bar squat

Which do you prefer and why?

I've always done high bar squats.
Now that I'm lifting some decent weight, I'm thinking of switching to low bar.

I found that all that heavy weight on high bar puts a lot of pressure on my spine.
Low bar the bar is supported more on my upper back muscles.

My Ride: nothing
Low bar if you want to move bigger weight. High bar if you want more quad recruitment/development

my answer: do which one feels comfortable. If you're doing other leg movements you can build some good legs with low bar and accessory lifts. I swaut in the middle. It's most comfortable for me. Tried low bar and it crushed my elbows.

Been slowly working on my low bar.
Taking some time to get used to the bar placement before I gomheavier.
Still on 185 sets (really easy) for now.

Getting over a cold and a neck injury at the moment.

Weighing 206 dry
