Would it be possible to have one of these made to fit inside the single outer vent (the one closest to the drivers side door) instead?

I will think about to make version for outer vent. It will take lot of work to use another smaller screen, rewrite all graphics and so, also making new frame for outer vent with new small screen isnt easy

Ah, I was under the assumption that the dimensions didn't differ that much, that it wouldn't be too much of a hassle. It would be much easier for both of us if I just figured out how to get the air from that vent to cool as well as the middle one, lol.

I need to mention that right side of central vent will work like before lcd installation, ony left side of vent closed from behind (to protect lcd of overheating). And here is absolutely no problem with air circulation with my device installed

Ahh I didn’t get those fancy car pictures in the lcd info screen. But I think number one of all “series” devices looks the best

At this point I should mention the good display brightness at night. You can dim it almost so dark that you won’t see a thing during daylight. Android head units are so much brighter at night!

Also the brightness during daylight is unbelievable good, you can see everything even during sunshine. Also something an android HU cannot.

So besides it displaying information from the DME. We can directly connect wideband O2 sensors, EGT sensors, boost, etc, DIRECTLY to your device so we can monitor those as well, correct?

No direct connection of wideband sensors. You would have to use the auxiliary output(and maybe setupt) of the wideband controller.

But oil pressure and temperature sensors can be connected directly

You set up the sensor per sensor's instructions, then 5v out from the sensor goes to the device's brain

The device just grabs the voltage value delivered by the wideband sensor controller.

For example the innovate mtx-l has an configurable output which can be set from 1 to 5 volt or so, depending by the afr value.
So the display unit has two cables which have to be connected to the two from the innovate mtx-l (as example, since I use a mtx-l).

So if I understand correctly. You’ll still need to purchase a separate AFR gauge witch then this unit will piggy back off of and display the value? Everything else, this unit will act alone on. Correct?

It depends on what wideband you go with. You can buy Innovate LC2 sensor and controller without the gauge and use this as the gauge. I went with AEM UEGO which comes with the gauge, so I just hid it in the glovebox
