Still waiting for SlowJoe or Rhumb to specify what positions of Gavin McInness are “far right”...

(My guess: they are ignorant of who he is and what he believes - and they are simply parroting others who have mistakenly called him “far right”)

A Trump supporter launched an "incredibly violent attack" on a BBC cameraman at a Texas rally in which the US president repeatedly whipped up the crowd's anger over supposed media bias.

The BBC's Washington correspondent Gary O'Donoghue, who is blind, said his colleague Ron Skeans had been filming Donald Trump's campaign-style rally in El Paso on Monday evening when the incident occurred.

He said the supporter of Mr Trump climbed on to the reporters' platform and pushed the camera into his colleague, before continuing to push Mr Skeans.

"It was an incredibly violent attack. Fortunately our cameraman is fine, he is made of stern stuff," Mr O'Donoghue told the Today programme.

Mr O'Donoghue posted footage from Mr Skeans' camera on Twitter, writing: "This is the shameful moment when my cameraman Ron Skeans was attacked by @realdDonaldTrump supporter in El Paso - after the President repeatedly goaded the crowd over supposed media bias."

Trump and friends...

So now it's Democrat or "far right" with no in-between? I don't even think the dude is a republican from what I can remember. I believe he is a self-described libertarian.

He's pro legalization, anti prison or starters

He described himself as part of the New Right if I remember correctly.

Is the New Right the same thing as the Alt Right? Serious question. All these extremists have seemingly gone off the deep end in an attempt to differentiate themselves and create radical groups that undermine democracy in this country. I can't keep up with who's who.

You should look up the definition of unequivocally.

"in a way that leaves no doubt."

Seems approptiate: that she apologized in a way that left no doubt. A lot better than the typical equivocating apology we usually get out of politicians.

An Indiana man was taken into custody on a preliminary murder charge after a road rage incident last weekend, during which witnesses said he yelled religious and ethnic insults at a Muslim-American man before shooting and killing him. However, there is no opportunity under current law for Passarelli to be charged with a hate crime despite witnesses alleging that he hurled xenophobic slurs at the victim and told him to “get out” of the country, because Indiana is one of the few states left without such laws.

What a shame. If Indiana had hate crime laws, they could sentence him to death. Instead, all they can do is sentence him to death.

But with hate crimes they could sentence him to Double-plus Death(TM)!

That is enticing. Or, if hate crime laws merely eliminated one (1) appeal right, I could probably get on board with that.

I think torture as a punishment should be back on the menu. Death is easy.

Would that be cruel or unsual?
