E39 sensor /switch question

1999 528i sport wagon Iím replacing the alternator but I noticed on the back of the oil filter housing there a broken sensor or switch. Thought it was for oil pressure but thereís another like it above the broken one. Are there 2 oil pressure switches? I took a picture of it hoping someone could tell me what it is so I can get it fixed the one circled in blue is the broken one where the plug goes on is broken off. If itís for oil pressure then whatís the one circled in red for?
