Way to filter "New Posts" tab?

I like using the New Post tab in the red header above to see new posts and threads since my last visit to the site. The only problem, I like to just read post about our E46's not the "Everything Else" and political BS.

Is there a way to filter the new posts and if not, can the Admin's create one that filters out the non car related new posts?

That would be nice for sure. I also use "new posts" as opposed to just looking in one sub forum

Hi there.

Unfortunately, there's isn't a function to separate what comes up in the "new posts" section.
