On the converterboard you can also setup some things. Clamp st and clamp sp fixed the prolem. So now everything runs super.
What camera are you using?

The way I want to solve my Bordmonitor upgrade is by enabling right rotary controller in Aux Mode. Then switch screen to HDMI input from RPi and use Ressler to link to iBus.

I understand the iBus messages are:

F0 04 3B 49 81 07 Left turn
F0 04 3B 49 01 87 Right turn
F0 04 3B 48 05 82 push*
F0 04 3B 48 45 C2 hold*
F0 04 3B 48 85 02 rel

does it mean you use the pibus program with the resler usb interface?
very confuse thing...
the messages are from button, but has nothing to do with aux. the aux message comes from radio device.

A rearcam ntsc from ebay. Mounted in numberplate holder.

Meanwhile a soldered my own circuit to control HDMI channel via r-gear and pibus / tv-modul signal.

Works like charm. Will post some pics of it soon.

Just a little problem with sync signal from cam on startup. Takes some seconds to get a stable pic from rear cam. After complete warming up phase pic is stable fom rear cam. Looks like a sync problem from LM1881.

No - the pibus device is (basically) no longer available. I need another solution, not pibus or its program.

Aux provides good solution as it is Audio In (from RaspPi) - but how to activate radio device so that rotary controller works in Aux MODE is a mystery!

With Petes yes i'd like to try to make a copy of the pibus board. A partlist a maybe printlayout file would be great. At least i will try to make a copy for my own use just in case...

At Pete,

I'm building my own Pibus Mainboard with HDMI switch and some other things. As base i use your v4.03 board to get some solutions. Right now i try to understand the power supply. There is a TD1501 DC/DC converter which is on when pin5 is low. This is controlled by a n-channel mosfet (Q3 on your board). S is ground, D is connected to pin5, G isconnected via 100k to ground and also to pin 8 of IBUS IC (U1 TPIC1021A).

But how does it know when to turn on and when to s.hut down? The IBUS sends signal to all connected modules to wake up. So your board receives the signal and pi boots. But how?

It was the min order quantity... just made them to understand the pibus board and to check the quality of the pcb. Developing my own pibus mainboard right now. Pictures coming soon.

So here it is.

It will combine the Hifiberry-DAC, powersupply, ibus-com, 2xpoweed usb hubs (each has 4 ports), RGsB to HDMI converter, HDMI switch, soundcard with mic input and an audio noise filter.

On top i can put the raspberry. So it's an all in one solution.

If everything works, the next version may have an onboard dab/fm receiver.

Regards

Soldering everything at the moment.

Right now powersupply, Raspberry connection, IBUS, HDMI switch and Hifiberry-DAC are working.

Maybe i'll produce some, if everything runs fine. At the moment everything is soldered.

USB hub, ok
USB soundcard for Mic in, ok
Ibus Communication, ok
HDMI switch, ok
Power supply, ok
Hifiberry dac, ok
RGsB to HDMI, not ok

The RGsB to HDMI converter works, but the output is very very green and has some glitches. Need to find the error before i'll let the next pcb be produced. Found several other mistakes which are solved in version 2.

Hi vitalic,
Did you consider making a replacement TV-module motherboard? Then you could do all the RGsB video switching inside without lots of wires.
