Eya

Hi Guys,

For my own introduction, im Bert, 30 years old.
I've got a wife and 3 daughters, who became the reason I bought a trackday car.

Just bought an e46 323CI for trackday use only.
Added 2 pics :-)
Ran 224k km, aprox 140k miles.

Just did a full checkup to see if there are any things that needed immediate replacing.

When driving the car back home, when braking with higher speeds the steering wheel started shaking. When the car was lifted, I could see on the disc that the consistency of the disc wasnt good. So conclusion, need new discs.

Second thing I noticed was when releasing the throttle, the diff made a "bonking" sound. The rear bushing was shot.

The subframe looked decent, not as new, but not shot either.

The brakefluidpump had a leak at the bottom of the connection with a hose. Needs a new one.

Things to do:
Fit 330 brakes because need new discs, why not upgrade immediately?
Fix diff bushing.
Fix brakehose.
New oil/brakeoil etc.

What oil for the engine do you guys recommend for track use? 5w40 / 10w60?

After that, start of the weight reduction!!!

Cool car, and what a sweet lift home garage setup. I could use one of those.
