Instrument Cluster

I recently had to change out the instrument cluster on my 2003 330xi and of course its used from a boneyard, I called my local dealer about reprogramming it to the correct mileage and vin number, they told me this could not be done on a used cluster? I told them they should do some research cause I see that it can be done? Anywho, my ABS, BRAKE and Traction control lights are on and my BC control on my driver colum will not work? Now what?
