I think our smartest bet is to go to bimmerpost. They also have an app that's not half bad.
And looks like it was recently updated to have more of a E46 M3 section.

That or here.

I like that you guys were proactive in scraping the data and DIYs but I think it'd be hard to get that google and SEO traffic up enough on any "new" forum and eventually even die from getting no newcomers.

No thanks. Bimmerpost is like the complete antithesis to what made m3f great.

m3freaks.com is a good one. That's the best I've heard besides mforum.net.

And to be more clear, I'm not suggesting the sites merge content hosting or technology. At this point I'm asking that the mforum.net domain name be directed over to the nam3forum site and that those involved in both sites work together as a team for the greater good of the community and in the interest of ensuring it survives.

I'm 100% opposed to the idea of trying to split the community between two competing sites.

Hard no. They have less content and information about my E46 M3 than a site that was made two weeks ago.
Look how many FIYs Nam3forum.com has and compare to the DIYs of bimmerpost. Sponsors can't make money if we are doing everything ourselves.

Bimmerpost is the worst car forum I've seen. Anywhere would be better than there.

100% censorship and protection/promotion of sponsors in every instance it comes up.
