Well that was a pain to install, got there in the end. Used bimmergeeks for the 10gb file and the link in this thread for the other files. Love it so far.

Question , how do I reset things like air bag light or tpms light (which I retrofitted but have yet to get the button working) with ista? Obviously easy to do on inpa.

Edit figured it out. Also got below codes if anyone can help. Last 2 codes unsure.

Edit: 1 of them if for the ride height sensor it seems. Parts ordered. And wiring will be checked when i get the new part.

I'm looking for a capable diagnostic tool solution. For INPA, I installed Mike's tools version, but I was not too happy with the interface. I understand ISTA is nicer. So what are the system requirements for ISTA. I'm using Windows XP.

Anyone has a link to an 'easy' install version of ISTA?

Thanks. I saw the links, but Mike's stuff is for a package of programs (on top of that I'm getting a buch of errors upon install).

Is this a reliable link to down load a good working ISTA without any needed prerequisites:

OK. I found the info that I was looking for:
ISTA will by no means work on Windows XP, already because of the NET Framework 4.6 requirement and Windows XP will unable to provide that.

So I'm back to looking for a working version of INPA. Mike's tool version does not work on my setup.

Will ISTA run on Win7 Pro 64 bit? I've got a dedicated laptop running INPA would be great to run ISTA on it too.

Hi. im after some help. I had a laptop dedicated to running dis, inpa, ncs, pasoft etc. After doing my valve stem seals I decided to plug in my laptop and do a scan. my laptop no longer works and just shows a blank screen. I have my main laptop running windows 10. I have managed to get inpa, ncs and winkfp working. I cannot get pasoft working. so I thought I would try ista. I am struggling to find a link with the required files in to get ista+.
if their is anyone who can help it would be most appreciated
Thanks

The large file for ista d is this:

https://mega.nz/#!a1wUmYCD!G0C3_Hsg9...o9uQ4EpxjI8oZs

The other small files are somewhere in this thread.

The only tricky part of this install is installing the correct version .net framework. I had to try 5 or 6 different versions before ista d finally worked properly.

Works fine on windows 8 64 bit. You don't need a massive amount of hard drivr space, I think I only had 30gb free on my laptop.

You change the language in the Setting tab (the wrench icon). It will be in the 'Client settings' tab.

The setup is pretty straight forward. Where ever you got the file from should have the direction to setup. I'm using 4.17 and it took a while to become familiar with the setup process.
