If you let it dry, it won't be an issue. Do it one evening and let it sit overnight before you turn it on again. Worst case, you have a flaming exhaust for a second before it all burns off.

dont listen to deez haters brah, do what chu wanna do, ya heard. str8 pipes is where its at deez dayz so i feel you dawg. i removed my exhaust all the way up to da headerz to get rid of unecessary weight and increase my mpg by 5 and now my neighborzz love waking up in da mornin to tha rumble of tha best engine of all time.

I've done a muffler delete and it's the worst thing I've ever done to my car. Went back to the stock muffler the next day.

you want good sound, put on a proper intake. I have had the AFE and that made my 330i sound pretty mean.

a lot of times intakes just produce sound, nothing more. 200+ is a lot of money for something that produces minimally increased sound.

besides, I like the stock sound of my XI with the stock exhaust and the stock engine sound. nothing quite like it at higher rpms, and the gold tee mod adds a bit of rumble for when I'm gettin' them groceries
