rear view mirror

hi all i need some more help.my black wire harness that holds the pins fell off behind my rear view mirror its the clown nose that has the auto dim but not the compass i want to hard wire it but the wires on the mirror are not the same color as the ones coming out of my car if someone could let me know what i would appreciate it thanks in advance

I'm assuming you got an aftermarket mirror? More details would help.
Check with the instructions or call the company and ask them for some help.

I brought the car like that didn't notice the mirror until today it has the lien nose on the bottom and the dimmer senser in the top middle ill give you the wire colors in the morning when I wake up thanks

Wait, so your wiring harness fell apart? How'd you manage that without cutting something or breaking it open?

Does the mirror not work or something?

Behind the mirror there is a clip the wires fell out of the one side of the clip. Comming out of the car I have five wires a red/black-white/green--blue/yellow--brown/black--gray/black. The mirror has 9 a white/black--gray--red--black--green--purple--brown--Orange--white
Sorry about the miss understaning like I said this is my first bmw I'm in love but it needs a little love
