Will this look funny if I don't mold it onto the trunk? I have a feeling that if I mold this in my trunk and couple of days later when I bump hard, the bondo will be shot and crack. So I am thinking not to mold it at all so the stress marks will not show up.

I understand your concern as i also had that concern. If your suspension is not shot, i dont see a problem with the mold stressing unless you were to slam your trunk down very hard. As for another way, this lip will look its best molded but im sure some places may be able to accommodate a diff. mounting procedure. let me know if you need any other info.

not to go OT on my thread but noone has mentioned anything about wanting a gtr hood either (prefacelift sedan and coupe) with carbon vents. pm me for info about that and csl bumper. both those products will be deeply discounted but i need to have another 10 buyers for the hood and bumper.

man 15 is going to take too long.
tell them to do it for 10 and then we'll get another batch of 10 later. i cant wait much longer im going to be ready to paint soon. well you are buying direct from me. I previously posted that i would like to get the group buy for 15 but we will see how much longer it takes to get 10 and if it looks to be too long of a wait i will just stop it then and take the hit.
