Which sensors, if you don't mind the question. I was really surprised at how good the current mustangs are when I bought mine in the spring. I'm really having to fight myself to keep from trading in for a GT350.

How is working on a sensor too specific for your identity?

I think you grossly over estimate how much people on here care...

I'm facebook friends with a number of people on here so it is what it is.

Yeah actually even I can't find us on the internet in relation to the factory part number nor the service part number lmao. I don't think we sell direct to aftermarket. We sold service parts to Ford and they put them in Motorcraft boxes and mark up 10-15x our price. They're <$4. The newest generation is <<$3 for a camshaft sensor. My parts are in probably 75% of every Ford car/truck made for the last 5-7 years.

Nope we came in on the 6.7 (Scorpion) and then again on the recent upgrade to that same engine.

So you help make or design a crank sensor, cam sensor, O2 sensor, MAF sensor, coolant or oil temp sensor, oil level sensor, throttle position sensor or thermostat. Did I get the general bucket ha

I was involved in every aspect of the development and continued production of Powertrain sensors.

Not really but I did know about the voodoo, new coyote, new power stroke, and new 7.3L V8 a couple years before launch. Had a launch meeting at the Windsor plant and they went over all the new stuff in the coyote upgrade and provided slides for it. I generally had engine and transmission CAD files in various stages throughout production. Usually they just try to send the surrounding pieces in CAD but one time they sent the entire Godzilla engine to us hahah. Knew all about the GM and Ford 10 speed launches for cars and trucks. Being in the supply chain gives you a bottom up view of entire vehicle timelines since thatís the driver.

Some times you get to see behind some curtains. One recall in particular was a failed sensor and the computer handled it wrong and caused the drivetrains to lock up. Killed some people. The sensor supplier was found partially at fault for basically shitty process and design. I helped consult Ford one how to correct their supplierís issues and also tried to influence them to let us provide a new solution.

Hmmmt, powertrain sensors. Sounds like sensors to control the output of power and shifting to the automatic transmission. Must be for some fancy shmancy new automatic, as I am pretty positive my solid old 6 speed manual has zero powertrain sensors.

Unless you're considering the power train to be from the engine back to the driveshaft.

That is, in fact, the definition of power train...
