2004 BMW 330ci valve cover gasket

Quick question about the valve cover on a 2004 BMW 330ci. My cover was recently damaged at it cracked. I have a new one to replace it but I was wondering if I needed to replace the gasket if I removed the valve cover. The only reason I am hesitated to replace the gasket is because I replaced it last summer. Thanks

If it feels pliable, you'll be fine. Also depends on the brand.

A one year old gasket should be fine. Just feel it and if it's pliable you're good. Pay close attention to the exhaust side because it gets the most heat/cooling cycles. Did you order from FCP Euro originally? Could take advantage of the lifetime replacement guarantee.

Thanks guys. The gasket looks fine. Also has anyone ever put a valve cover from a 2002 BMW X5 3.0 on a 2004 BMW 330ci?
