Re my ZF 5HP19

I am kinda stuck with my trani I rebuild it and put everything together go the car to drive beautiful going forward but the problem is with reverse as soon as i put it in reverse it goes in to revers and then pop in to neutral if i accelerate slightly as soon as i select reverse it will move for few seconds and then back in to neutral as if loosing pressure but no issues going forward
The D&G drum is not broken and I have not changed the pressure valve it is still original

I will appreciate some guidance in regards to this

When you say it pops into neutral, is the gear lever moving into neutral from reverse or is the transmission electrically going into neutral with the gear lever staying in reverse?

Getting closer to tackling this project. On cold starts, the first shift from I believe 2-3 is ALWAYS rough. It essentially slips if I stay on the throttle, I have to let off before it shifts. Only the first shift though. Any idea on what in the VB could be causing this?
