Nothing really to request for interior pics, just curious. Looks like you did get one with the third pedal option so that's awesome.

I'm not that familiar with these but any concern with the IMS issues?

Absolutely, it was a deal-breaker for me. I get that the PDK is a tiny bit faster on the track and all, but the manual is a much more engaging drive.

The IMS issues were prevalent in the 996, and the very early 997.1s, until about mid-year 2005 production dates. Those units all had the M96 motors, with the original dual-row bearing.

The M97 (which this car has) has the updated and beefier single-row bearing. Any bearing is susceptible to failure, but the IMS isn't an overly large concern with this motor.

Love the Porsche 911s, congrats! 6SP + PCCB is an excellent find.

My Ride: Best M5 ever made
I'll tell you what Adam, this method would probably be far far easier and less messy overall than the plasti-dip method... consider it maybe?

jack the car up on each corner in the front, spin the wheel and use a small nail polish container of black touchup (any gloss black should do) after maybe a very very light sanding with some super high grit paper right on that stripe, then like a pin striper, hold the brush in that one spot and let the wheel spinning take care of the rest. Should do wonders and be spot on only on that stripe area to preserve the OE finish as much as possible.

For the rears, you would need to get the car in neutral and spin them, or jack up the entire rear end and put it in gear, then do the striping while the wheels are spinning...

with a car like this though, you'll probably be happy to have an entire other set of wheels, just in case stuff happens.

You guys ever have a burp that comes from so deep within, you feel like you compressed yourself into the ground?

No, but I had a fart so violent that I think the walls of my rectum slapped together.
