Just an update to the strut tower nuts that I'm using;

they are the same nuts as http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-M3-...829/ES2500896/

Thanks Jimmy! Still not quite as fine as yours, but one day

Remembered I had to update the rest of my taillight assembly from the prefacelift coupe style to facelifted sedan style (trunk light replacement).

Finally looks complete!

Received my Blackstone Labs Oil Analysis jar thing today in the mail, picked up a low profile car jack (Arcan - Costco brings them in ~$175), some wheel chocks, and probably going to pick up 8 litres of Mobil 1 0W-40 (I'm 99% sure it's LL01 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/0w40-Mobi...item19f4cc62af). Also tossing up to decide how much Redline D4 ATF I'm gonna buy to do tranny flush and power steering flush. Does anyone know the quantities required for both?

While I'm using Liqui-Moly at the moment, a bit harder to find, and quite a bit more expensive (M1 is ~$12/L, Liqui-Moly from distributor is $20/L). I was originally going to go for the Motul X-Cess 8100 from clickable, but way too expensive. M1 will suffice nicely since the yanks love it so much anyway.

I'll send my Blackstones sample off next year in March or so when I do my oil change.

Changed out belts and pulleys today alongside power steering reservoir clamps updated and new seal placed with a fluid flush.

I noticed quite a decent change in feel from the power steering; it was much easier after the fluid was clear and red!

Pulleys were all changed. The idler and one of the tensioner pulleys were freely spinning, and the power steering pulley was pretty cracked (especially since we needed to destroy it to get it off the shaft for the PS pump).

Belts were changed too.

Did my regulator over the past week, ran into some issues, issues were resolved (thanks bumpgums and davew).

Also picked up gloss kidney grilles to replace my matte black ones. (old matte ones are up for sale $40 pm me)

^facelift and sedan.

For the prefacelift coupe (bumpgums), these are the ones you want:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BMW-3-E46...item5404e314fd

for matte black (jimmy):
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BMW-3-E46...item5404501f2b

I will say though, that my gloss set has a slight issue with the passenger side grille. The clips that mount the two pieces together were far from perfect, so one side was rattling. Nothing super glue wouldn't fix, but just keep this in mind when you order. My matte black ones were of much higher quality, and were made in Taiwan compared to the gloss (made in China).

Careful with super glue. It's water soluble!
