Anybody know the speaker setup in the vert?

I couldn't find the specs online so i was hoping some people know the specs and how to access them for a DIY.

I'm trying to upgrade the rears, which make a funny popping noise with high bass.

I have a model '01 in case there are model year differences.

Check out Bavsound e46 convertible on youtube. I used these videos to install my speakers and it worked great.

Very helpful - the first video for coupe/cab that comes up looks like what I need!

Now, what speakers/ systems did people put in? Anybody put a sub?

I can’t be any real help with speakers. I took to easy route and purchased a set from BSW. They are setup like factory and sound very good. Not audiophile good, but in a convertible they sound good.

If you get things figured out with a subwoofer be sure to post up, I could use the help.
