Hi, I have searched on real OEM but cannot find the a part I am looking for. I need the trim/seal on the leading edge of the folding top compartment lid.

It is part number 8 on the diagram you have shown. Take a look at realOEM again. There is a left and right hand side part and you need to select the colour your need. I recently changed them on my 330CI as the rubber seal had broken away. I got them from a BMW dealer so still available.

Good luck!

I don't see part 8 but I do see part 30 in the upper left and that is what I think I need but can find that exploded view in RealOEM. My seals - left and right - have detached from the leading edge of the compartment cover.

Part #8 is shown on the realOEM diagram, bottom centre. The parts list is belowCover, folding top flap, left SCHWARZ 1 51178233303 $8.63
08 Cover, folding top flap, right SCHWARZ 1 51178233304 $8.63
08 Cover, folding top flap, left TITANGRAU 1 51178245853 $9.08
08 Cover, folding top flap, right TITANGRAU 1 51178245854 $9.08
08 Cover, folding top flap, left HELLBEIGE 1 51178245855 $9.08
08 Cover, folding top flap, right HELLBEIGE 1

I think these are what you need, depending on the colour. black, beige or grey.

Greg,
Thanks for the reply, mine was a black rubber edge that has failed and fallen off, water is able to get inside the top storage so this is just what I was looking for.
