Is it necessary to replace brake pads with new rotors?
I replaced my brake pads and resurfaced the brake rotors at the end of last year. Have done 3k miles since then.
The rotors got warped after the resurface, so I have to replace them now too.
Question is - can used brake pads damage new rotors? Asking friends, they go both ways.
My reasoning is that the brake pad is of a softer surface vs the the rotor, so it shouldn't be able to damage/ deform the rotor in any way.

E46 rotors are quite thin and resurfacing them makes them even thinner
Not so complicated install of BMW Tools (Windows XP, 7, and 10)
