finally got my 15" wheels to fit my 325i!!

woo!! ok, so this started out because i have a set of snow tires mounted on a set of 15" E36 328i wheels, and the tires still had plenty of tread, so beginning of winter i tried to test fit the wheels, which worked just fine in the rear, but the wheels would rub the calipers in the front. its a 2004 325i so it has the bigger brakes than the early 323's and base package wheel is 16". well, i had a buddy of mine give me a set of H&R 20mm spacers just to try and see, and it worked! so, with these wheels and a set of at least 20mm spacers, you can get 15" OEM E36 wheels to fit onto your E46 325i, making snow tires cheaper

im sure someone has already done this, but if not, figured id share what i have found if someone has some 15" wheel laying around, they make great snow tire wheels, so you dont bash up your nice summer ones with pot holes (like i did)

*and they dont look half bad if i do say so myself

Nice, our winter this year is just (lots of) wind and rain but good to know 15's can be fitted with a spacer.

I knew they would but didn't know what spacer size but luckily found the right one .. I mean I can get 4 Michelin snow tires new for around $450 vs in 16-17 your looking about $600+ and I don't like spending money on tires when i don't have too since I do about 30k a year in my car
