Thanks, I'll look into those.

I welcome any suggestions anyone has for things to do to/check on the car as I'm pretty new to working on cars at this level.

I've been crap at maintaining this thread, but that's changing now.

Currently replacing driver side CV axle and tie rod end. Don't let your boots become brittle, kids! You'll have a bad time.

Finally making some progress on this bitch.

I've done a ton of **** that I've failed to take pictures of, but you can read my spreadsheet of death to see what I've done.

Some stuff I've gotten pictures of-

Respraying the parcel shelf, which made such a difference in the car, I recommend it to anyone:

I used this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-H.../dp/B00098PO3G

The mess of doing that:

It was worth it though.

Got black glossy kidney grills from ECS Tuning, I love them.

I also got new wheels/tires from another member here. This is the first big/fun thing I've gotten to do to the car.
Before:

After:

Next up is the few thing I have in my garage that I need to do that I haven't done to the car yet, then it's new suspension

Beautiful wheels! Need a new sig pic with them (and the car properly lowered). I don't envy you xi drivers the front wheel gap.

Blacked out kidneys aren't my cup of tea on a black car (need some contrast, IMO), but at least you have quality pieces instead of just bug-bombing them.

Keep up the good work! Your spreadsheet puts mine to shame, lol.

Do you plan on lowering it? If so what suspension are you thinking about? Good work man, keep it up.

Reviving this from the dead! Car was fine for a few months, but about a month ago started sounding like a creaking pirate ship, so I knew it was time to stop driving it.

Over the last few months I have been just doing small stuff that I kept putting off. I recovered my A and C pillars in a faux leather vinyl, which turned out nicely:

Yes I know you love that Drake air freshener!

Also fixed this piece of trim which fell off:

Just used some 3M Body Trim Adhesive which has held up well.

Did an oil change today with Liqui Moly. Noticed my main seal has a tiny leak. OH GREAT.

Up next:
Tranmission Fluid (this has been a priority for months but I stripped my fill bolt and the other I can't fit an l-shaped t45 in there)
Control Arms / Passenger Side Axle
Front Brakes
New Shocks/Struts/Springs

Lovely interior.

So do you have a black parcel shelf with beige seats and head rests? I've been wanting to do this for a while, as it mirrors that black dash at the front of the car, and my beige parcel shelf is really badly faded.

Do you have any more pics?

what did you use to spray the rear parcel shelf? Im have a beige interior but my zhp has an anthracite headliner. so if i can make it darker it would be great.

My interior is Natural Brown, so the parcel shelf came as black, but it was very sun faded, so that's why I painted it.

This right here: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....-L._SY679_.jpg

Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating in flat black. It worked extremely well.

hmmm, do you think you could use that duplicolor coating on the Pillar trim? My felt is horrendous and peeling everywhere, and that spray job you did looks legit. Was thinking of tearing off all felt and spraying them with this stuff.....

HA! I'm dumb, did not read all pic captions properly, looks like you've done this and it turned out far better than what mine look like now!

Will do this soon.

I recovered the pillars with vinyl fabric, but I'm pretty sure the spray stuff would work well on them as well.

I guess it all depends on what kind of glue residue is left behind after the felt comes off... I should just plasti-dip mine or something.. goes on thicker and might hide any glue markings

Wow! For a rust belt car, she cleans up very nicely. Just lovely.

You remind me that I need to order new headlight lenses too.

I guess I'm just a lucky person...

Luckily I bough it from FCP Euro and they're replacing it for free. Not even on the car for a week. It looks like the axle was put together incorrectly and the outer CV joint spewed all of its grease out.
