Fuel cap filler door alignment adjustment?

Is there a way to align the fuel cap filler door? The one on my E46 needs a slight adjustment to properly align with the panel.

Remove the wheel below it and the plastic liner behind it,feel around or look for the two 10 mm nuts and adjust,i hope that helps.
