Won't stay running

I did a head gasket change and when I go to start it , it pops and runs like crap for a few seconds then dies, I have retimed it twice. Any ideas

We need more information:
- year
- model
- miles/kms
- why you changed the head gasket
- what other things you changed
- brands of parts (it matters)
- did you use cam licking tools?

Most usually when that happens after major disassembly/reassembly it's a major vacuum leak and/or a fuel delivery issue.

It may just be a major vac leak...But how did you re-time it?

Did you use the timing tools?

So I used the special tool kit with the locks, going to re do it again. But it seems like ecu is letting it fire then the ecu kills it for some reason
